Light is coming from above

That's what some guy in Hide Park was screaming out one day !!
I was wondering if he did know that light was packets of photons that behave in a strange way depending on the moment...
So what about capturing a photo, are we capturing photons of that special moment ?
I'll let everyone make his own idea...
Frankly speaking from my side I don't have an answer..
